Horatio Coito, Executive Chef

Horacio Coito is originally from Lisbon, Portugal. He has lived in Danbury Connecticut for 25 years. Horacio attended Henry Abbott Tech, after graduation from high school he attended Naugatuck Valley Community College. He graduated from there with an A.S. in Food Service / Hospitality Management. Horacio has worked in the food industry for 16 years, 8 of those 16 years he has been a manager. Horacio has worked as a Chef Manager at Fordham University at Tarrytown and is now here with us at Western Connecticut State University where he is the Executive Chef. His other special interests are skiing, golf, wine tasting and experiencing different cultures and foods.
