A veteran of over 28 years in the food service industry, Josef has been an Innkeeper, a Hospitality Director for a living history village, an F&B Director for one of New England’s largest amusement parks and owner of Josef’s Specialty Food Shop. When he finally settled down and joined Sodexo ten years ago he served as the Director of Auxiliary Services and Marketing at the University of Vermont. Later, as the General Manager at SUNY Plattsburgh he hosted “global chefs” from Columbia and Germany and piloted The Balanced Way nutritional program in it’s inaugural implementation in the Northeast. Josef is thrilled to be a member of the talented and dedicated staff at WCSU. Josef and his wife of 30 plus years are delighted to be back in Connecticut. Together, they enjoy theatre, music, bird watching and their two very talented sons. |
